2. Invested Interest

A continuation off of the first one.

We invest in people, and the reason we invest time, energy, and emotion, into people is because we want to build it up. So maybe I used to think of people like stocks: buy low, sell high. You invest in people when you meet them or don’t know them well. You make sure the stocks are high, but when its hit its peak, or that the relationship has plateaued, you pull out.
